Today I want to share my thanks for the Sun. Wait, what? I know. It’s an odd choice, BUT it’s what I’m feeling today.
I appreciate her predictability and generosity. Everyday, she gives of herself, unwavering, asking nothing in return. We can count on her stolid presence no matter where we are in the world. We share the sun’s radiance when she shows herself to us, and know that even if she is obscured for days on end, she is still there. The sun gives us a measure of space, providing depth and perspective by showing us her shadow self. All time is marked and measured by her, and every cell on our planet is supported by her energy. Without her, we would not exist. Taking her daily presence for granted is easy to do, but maybe take this minute to send some love her way from YOUR hearts.
