At the risk of being annoying, I am going to take advantage of social media and share something POSITIVE and not political. Everyday between now and Thanksgiving, I am going to share something that I'm grateful for. If you're interested, fabulous, get to know me just a little bit better. If it's not your jam, no worries, scroll on, my friend, scroll on!

These will be in absolutely no particular order, just as they come to me.

Today I am grateful for the power of music. Specifically how a song can tickle a memory. I was out for a walk in Vermont this morning and the Be Good Tanya’s 'Rain and Snow' came on. I was transported back to when my girls were little, sitting in the backseat, buckled into their blue velour car seats while I drove. The song came on my stereo often, and my heart swooned a bit when they began to sing along, having learned the words from repetition. I can still hear their sweet little voices singing along in my memory. To this day, I can't hear that song without hearing them too. The memory of it makes my heart feel too big for my chest. There is a part of me that wishes I could go back for just one more trip to Target with those little humans, but I am satisfied - and again grateful - to have such a visceral memory to sit with.  Give it a listen if you feel called to! See where it takes you.
