Little things mean a lot. Today I want to give a shout out to my UPS driver. We get packages delivered throughout the week - probably not unlike most of you. Our driver puts a dog treat on top of the boxes most times, which has trained Franklin to “enjoy” his visits. It's a brilliant tactic because now UPS=friend=cookie! Franklin loses his mind every time we get any deliveries, and immediately looks for his treat.
We’re at the point that out on a walk, if he sees the famous brown truck, he’s not moving another inch until the driver gives him a cookie - and our driver always does. He knows Frank’s name and makes sure that he gets his treat and some head rubs.
I know, it’s a small thing, but in today’s BUSY world with everyone just looking to get to the next thing, I appreciate their kindness. It gives me a reason to smile, so for that I am thankful!
