Today I want to give thanks to our Veterans. 11/11 is celebrated as the official acknowledgement to their sacrifice and duty, but in fact they are due a giant THANK YOU every single day.
I'm not super proud to be an American right now - I don't need to state the obvious - but I am appreciative that this is where I have lived my whole life. A large reason that the U.S. has been "The Land of the Free" is because of the men and women who have put their lives on the line for the safety and comfort of us. And me.
So for that, to our Veterans of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, I salute you. Thank you.
