As I’m making this post, I can hear Julio Iglesias’ song “To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before” playing in my head - except the lyrics are changed to “To All the Dogs (and Cats) I’ve Loved Before”
I am soooooo beyond grateful to have had the love for, and from, all of the pets I’ve shared space with as an adult. I could go back and comment on every pet that I’ve ever lived with since birth, but I’ll stick with the ones from the past couple of decades. As all of my fellow animal lovers know, each one has their own personality and place in my heart. Our current boy, Franklin, keeps us all entertained everyday by really just being Frank. That’s what he does best. And I love it!
I miss all of the ones that are no longer here TREMENDOUSLY, but am thankful that my life was made better for having had them be a part of it. I know the same holds true for them too
